Who Am I? “I” am just another SouthLAnd fan named Bob Parker, who happens to be a Geek by trade and a small business owner/software developer. Why am I doing this? Because it’s extremely rare that I watch a “cop show” on television, preferring SciFi/Fantasy and medical dramas above all else. My husband convinced me to watch SouthLAnd when it original premiered and I was instantly hooked, because it was different. It was original, gritty, real and not your ordinary “procedural” police drama show that we have way too many of already on television. We both looked forward to its return in October and after being disappointed by NBC over the cancellation of so many good shows while others were renewed that quite frankly should have never been aired, I was pissed. So I created the SaveSouthlandShow.com website, created an online Petition and joined the @Cudlitz Army to push for SOMEONE to save the show. TNT came through for us, so it’s up to us to return the favor now. I don’t want a repeat of Jericho, where the show is saved only to have it die a second time because nobody watches it and it fails to get the ratings. The rest has been history. Here we are now, a few 10's of thousands of visitors later with the most popular Southland Fan Site on the internet! We've had original interviews with most of the cast, live chats with many of the cast & crew, unprecedented access to the cast, crew & set for a fan website, and we're not even through with the 3rd season. I have every reason to believe that we will get a Season 4, so we will be around for a long, long time to come.

Hello. My name is Deb and I hail from the great Bluegrass State of Kentucky in the U.S. I'm a retired (due to illness) public high school history teacher who now enjoys being active at most of the internet social networking sites, spending time with family and friends and reading the occasional good book. (Why is this sounding like I am a beauty pageant contestant?) I've been a SouthLAnd fan since before the show had it's first airing. Enjoy the forum. Hey y’all. I’m Karen and I work as a travel nurse. When I’m not on the road for work, I call Kentucky home. My cat Blake is an excellent traveler and accompanies me on the road. In my off time, my hobbies include photography, travel (I have a goal to visit the last 6 states I haven't been to yet), reading, and participating in several online communities including SouthLAnd and The Amazing Race. I participated in campaigns to save both shows when they were in danger of being canceled (The Amazing Race was almost canceled after Season 5). Likes – music, New York City; smart-asses; Pepsi; Mexican food; lefties; people with a great sense of humor; Yellowstone Nat’l Park; chocolate; when MTV still played videos; that feeling you get that makes you throw your arms in the air and shout, “YES!!!” Dislikes – having to be anywhere before 1 pm; haters; humidity; Duke University; people who do not understand the basic driving concept of ‘merge’; temps above 70; intolerance; celery; math; spiders; housework.

Who Am I? My name is Davina Gantz, I am a huge SouthLAnd fan, have been since the first episode aired. I currently work in the logistics department of a major telegraphic equipment company and in my spare time I assist Bob with our website. My contributions to the site include many of the collages in the gallery, episode reviews, moderating the forum and chat room. I can be found on Twitter at www.twitter.com/gingercara. Why am I doing this? I am doing this because I love the show and want to see it and the wonderful cast and crew thrive and have great success. I don’t typically get involved in projects like this but I felt so strongly about SouthLAnd that I felt the need to do whatever I could to help save the show and now that it has been given a new home on TNT I want to do what I can to promote it and make sure it has a long life with TNT. She spends a tremendous amount of time promoting the show, and our websites, through various social media outlets including Twitter, Facebook, LiveJournal and various TV related forums. We all owe her a great debt of gratitude for her tireless dedication to the show. Hinako, when not watching or promoting Southland, is a wife and mother of a teenage daughter. Hi guys, I'm Jenn. I live in Minnesota, and am a full time student hoping to get into a nursing program. I have been a SouthLAnd fan for longer than I can remember, and am so happy to be a part of this site! Ive got some amazing team members! In my free time I enjoy letting loose with friends, spending time with the family and *trying* to stay out of trouble and dreaming of the day I move to California!
